What is Photo Engraving? Photo engraving is simply the ability to engrave a photo on to wood, acrylic or black marble. A personalized message can also be engraved along with the photo. This is a unique way to give a favorite photo to a loved one for a highly personalized gift.
Although it's an engraving, the image, appears to be surprisingly like a photograph. The likeness is excellent as you can see from the examples. Images and text are engraved with a precision laser.
At the time of purchase send me your photo via email or U.S. Mail (I'll return the photo to you), and the text you would like to have engraved.
If you are emailing your photo, send it as a jpeg. Basically close up photos that are clear, sharp and with no shadows will engrave with the best results. Also photos with even exposures and good contrast will engrave best. Keep this in mind when you select your photo.
